Here I am in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Daddy, Mummy, and I had a wonderful weekend trip to celebrate Daddy's first Father's Day! More pictures to follow.
Last week I started eating solid foods and can I tell you I just love it! Here I am eating some pears. I stared out with baby rice, moved on to sweet potatoes, have had pears for the past 3 days and today I will have carrots, aren't I lucky!
We had a wonderful week with Grandpa David. This picture was taken the first day he arrived. We were in Landbroke Square Garden here in Notting Hill. It's one of the private gardens but today we got to visit. We had very nice weather all week. Except for the day we traveled to Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Bath we had a little rain but it wasn't so bad. All in all, a very fun week. We miss him already!
Here we are at Stonehenge. Mommy carried me around all day on her belly. This was our first stop on our tour. We saw Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Bath. Stonehenge was Grandpa David's favorite... mine and Mommy's too!
We almost weren't allowed on because of our pram but everything seemed to work out well and I had my first ride (out of the womb) on the London Eye. Daddy and Mommy went on the Eye with Holli and Jon in November... as you can see, I was in Mommy's belly.
My Great Aunt Gretchen is my best friend. She took care of me 3 or 4 nights in Iowa. She took me on a few picnics with Great Nana to see Aunt Jenny too. We just played and played and played all the time I was there. She is now and will forever be known as the baby whisperer.
My friend Coco never left my side the whole time we were home. If Charlie Rose or Simba came too close to me, she would growl at them and push them away with her paws. Grandpa Studer says they took away her ability to be a mother but you can never take away the mothering instinct.
Daddy and Mummy went out on the town without me for her birthday. I missed them very much and they missed me which is why they came home after dinner instead of staying out all night... I was asleep of course when they got home. Happy 25th Birthday Mommy!
Mommy, Grandma, and I took the golf cart to the pool in Iowa. I love the water. Daddy and Mommy got me my cute swim suit before we left London in anticipation of the sunny Iowa weather. I like it because it's like a little sailor suit! Grandma was a natural with me in the water.
