Our trip to Paris.

Here I am in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.  Daddy, Mummy, and I had a wonderful weekend trip to celebrate Daddy's first Father's Day!  More pictures to follow.

Yummy Pears!

Last week I started eating solid foods and can I tell you I just love it!  Here I am eating some pears.  I stared out with baby rice, moved on to sweet potatoes, have had pears for the past 3 days and today I will have carrots, aren't I lucky!

Grandpa David's Visit

We had a wonderful week with Grandpa David.  This picture was taken the first day he arrived.  We were in Landbroke Square Garden here in Notting Hill.  It's one of the private gardens but today we got to visit.  We had very nice weather all week.  Except for the day we traveled to Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Bath we had a little rain but it wasn't so bad.  All in all, a very fun week.  We miss him already!

Bath

Finally, we ended up at Bath.  Here we are at the old Roman Bath.  It's heated by hot springs... wish we could've jumped in, I love the bath at home!

Salisbury Cathedral

Here we are at the Salisbury Cathedral.  We saw the Magna Carta there.
We also found this ray of light inside.
Here Grandpa David is catching it in his hand.

And here I am with it on my face!

Stonehenge

Here we are at Stonehenge.  Mommy carried me around all day on her belly.  This was our first stop on our tour.  We saw Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Bath.  Stonehenge was Grandpa David's favorite... mine and Mommy's too!

The London Eye

We almost weren't allowed on because of our pram but everything seemed to work out well and I had my first ride (out of the womb) on the London Eye.  Daddy and Mommy went on the Eye with Holli and Jon in November... as you can see, I was in Mommy's belly.

Tower Bridge and The White Tower

Here's us in front of the tower bridge.  Our first stop on our journey.

On our way to see the Queen's Jewels!

The Baby Whisperer

My Great Aunt Gretchen is my best friend.  She took care of me 3 or 4 nights in Iowa.  She took me on a few picnics with Great Nana to see Aunt Jenny too.  We just played and played and played all the time I was there.  She is now and will forever be known as the baby whisperer.

Great Nana

I love playing with Great Nana.

She gave me this wonderful mouse rug to lay on.  The best part is it squeaks and it came with this matching mouse, which I love.

Mommy's sorority sisters come to visit

Erin from Dubuque, Iowa.

Amanda from Colorado.  Amanda's coming to visit us in London at the end of July... I can't wait!
P.S. When are you coming to visit Erin?

Coco the Watch Dog

My friend Coco never left my side the whole time we were home.  If Charlie Rose or Simba came too close to me, she would growl at them and push them away with her paws.  Grandpa Studer says they took away her ability to be a mother but you can never take away the mothering instinct.

Eye Appointment

Mommy had her annual eye exam when we were in Iowa.  Daddy and I went along to keep her company.

Chicago Architecture Tour on the Water

Our welcoming committee!

Daddy and Mommy really love each other... I'm just along for the ride.

My family.

The California Crew

Great Uncle Robbin and Great Aunt Hillary

Great Nana, Cousins Caydi, Bea, and Zach...
FYI: Cousin Zach was born in the same hospital, on the same day in London that I was only 17 years before me... now isn't that cool?

Daddy Time

My favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out with Daddy.
What a strong Daddy!
Aren't we cute?

Just before leaving for Iowa.  This is our new rocking chair from Grandmummy Carol.  We use it all the time.

Mommy's 25th Birthday

Daddy and Mummy went out on the town without me for her birthday.  I missed them very much and they missed me which is why they came home after dinner instead of staying out all night... I was asleep of course when they got home.  Happy 25th Birthday Mommy!

Grandma's 55th Birthday Celebration.

1 June 2009... Happy Birthday Grandmummy

Swim time with Grandma.

Mommy, Grandma, and I took the golf cart to the pool in Iowa.  I love the water.  Daddy and Mommy got me my cute swim suit before we left London in anticipation of the sunny Iowa weather.  I like it because it's like a little sailor suit!  Grandma was a natural with me in the water.
