Out and about in Milano.

Lunch with Semiah.

Daddy, Mommy, and I had lunch with Alvin, Elizabeth, and Semiah last week. Semiah is 6 mo. old, twice my age, but we weigh the same amount!

Doctor's Visit

I had to get my second set of vaccines today. Last time I had a high fever afterwards so Mommy and Daddy will be watching me very closely again this time.

Weight: 7.04 kg. (15lbs. 8oz.)

Length: 62.5 cm (just over 2')

Other than the shots, I'm healthy!

Now, Mommy is researching schools. Apparently we've already waited too long to apply for most and I'm only 12 weeks + 6 days! We'll do our research though and go on the waiting lists... Talk soon!

I love to touch new things like the nose of my bright bunny from Great Aunt Gretchen, Great Uncle Bob, Aunt Jenny, and Uncle Robbin.

Mother's Day #2: Sunday 10 May 2009

20 white roses

After Mommy took out two large trash bags full of nappies and received this giant box of nappies from the store, she decided to switch me over to cloth nappies- at least partially. Our Council, Kensington & Chelsea, gives parents £150 of nappy vouchers to use on cloth nappies! Also, Mommy read that cloth nappies can help me get potty trained as early as 14 months... because no one likes to sit around in wet undies! We won't get our hopes up though, every baby is on their own schedule. At least we'll help out the environment. Think of this: If every baby wore just ONE cloth nappy a day, for two years, we'd save over 700 nappies per baby from going to the land fill! We'll do our part :)

Rub-a-dub-dub, Jaeden's in the tub!

Every night we have bath time around 8:00. Then, I get swaddled and Daddy reads me a story. Finally, Mommy feeds me and I go to bed between 8:30 and 9:00. Going to bed doesn't necessarily mean that I will sleep. When I don't, Daddy and Mommy have to walk me around the block in my stroller... that always gets me to sleep.

I can roll over- tummy to back!

12 weeks old

Yesterday morning I was having tummy time when Mommy went upstairs for a minute. A few seconds later when she came back down with Daddy (because they don't like to leave me on my tummy alone!)... I was already laying on my back! They were so excited I think I made Daddy late for work. Later in the afternoon, Mommy and I had tummy time on the bed and Mommy caught me rolling over on camera- twice! Hope you all enjoy, I know I did.

Picnic

Today we had a picnic in Holland Park...

There were a lot of people out. Luckily, since I wake my parents up so early every day, we got to the park early and picked out a nice spot under a tree. We met some nice people, one of whom was due to have a baby on Tuesday! At home now, helping Mommy with her portfolio for school (which means I'm sleeping). See you later!

Happy May Day!

It's a beautiful day in Notting Hill and it's almost the long weekend (no work for Daddy on Monday!). We have been for a nice stroll in the neighborhood today. We met Daddy for lunch and then picked up some flowers to brighten things up inside while we do the dishes!

I am now starting to use my hands! As you can see in the above picture, I reach for the objects on my pram :)

Also, my cute sweater is from Daddy, he got it for me in Milan when it got really cold outside, isn't it cute!
